| Booking Conditions |
| 1. Enrollment |
| You can enroll online through the Internet; at the end of the enrolment process a printable online confirmation will be provided. You will also receive a password for our online booking system where you will find the latest information on:
-
processing state and details of you enrolment;

payment details depending on the method of payment you have chosen
;
-
downloads of your personal travel documents in PDF format.
After we have received your enrolment we will check the availability of the selected program and provide you with further information. The enrolment itself does not oblige you to make a reservation. |
| 2. Reservation |
After we have confirmed the availability of your program you need to pay a deposit of 10% of the total amount (minimum 50 €) in order to confirm your enrolment and make the reservation. We will provide you with your payment and reservation confirmation as well as your travel documents as soon as we have received the deposit.
The total price of your program has to be paid not later than 4 weeks before your first course day. This also means that in case of an enrolment less than 4 weeks before the start of your course the total price is due immediately to make the reservation. After the total payment has been received, we will provide you with your course and accommodation voucher.
If you need a VISA and require a written invitation in order to obtain the VISA you have to pay an extra VISA progressing fee of 75 €. The VISA fee is not refundable under any circumstances. |
| 3. Changes of your reservation |
| For changing details of a reservation made, regarding either course accommodation or a name change to another student, a fee of 50 € will be charged. |
| 4. Cancellation |
The reservation can be cancelled at any moment, depending
on the time left before the start of your course the following
charges will be applied: |
10% of the total value if cancellation is made 30 days or more before your day of arrival,
25% of the total value if cancellation is made between 15 and 29 days before your day of arrival,
50% of the total value if cancellation is made between 1 and 14 days before your day of arrival,
90% of the total value if cancellation is made on your day of arrival,
100% of the total value if cancellation is made after you have arrived or fail to arrive without notifying.
The minimum
cancellation
fee is 50 €.
If you wish, you can take our Insurance of Cancellation which covers 80% of cancellation costs due to unexpected illness or accident, in this case you need to add an Insurance fee of 2% of the total value (minimum of 50 €) to your first payment.
In case of refunds all transaction costs will be charged fully to the student. Insurance fees and VISA fees are not refundable under any circumstances. In the unlikely event or due to circumstances beyond our control that force us to cancel your course, all payments made will be reimbursed. |
| 5. Payment |
Payment can be made by:
- bank transfer to one of or accounts; the respective transfer fees of both sides have to be paid by the student. If any transfer fees are charged to us we will added the fees to the total price of the program.
- credit card via an online credit card clearance provider. |
| 6. Course levels and group sizes |
Our schools offer several course levels which will be set up on the first course day according to the result of a level test. It is therefore possible that in rare cases as a result of the level test only one or two participants happen to have the same course level.
In this case the schools will reduce the amount of lessons of the groups course to at least 60% (semi)private lessons. Instead of 20 group lessons 12 (semi)private lessons, and instead of 30 group lessons 18 (semi)private lessons will be given.This is considered as a free upgrade. |
| 7. Insurance |
| Neither agent, operator nor school will be held responsible in any way for any accident, illness, loss of personal effects or change in personal circumstances arising at any time prior to or during the course. We therefore strongly recommend personal travel insurance. |
| 8. Students under the age of 18 |
| To participate in our programs you have to be at least 16 years old when you commence your course. Parents of minors agree that neither Sprachcaffe nor agents, nor the host family are liable for any damage or problems caused by their children either negligently or intentionally. Parents and their children recognize and accept the laws and the normal code of conduct of the country which they are visiting. |
| 9. Data Protection Policy Statement |
Personal data transmitted to Mallorca PLUS SL is stored exclusively for contractual use and will only be transferred to cooperation partners and assistants if necessary for the fulfillment of the contract.
Personal data will not be made available to third parties. Storage and processing of personal data will be dealt with in accordance to the applicable data protection acts.
Transmitting your personal data is voluntary. You have the right to review, correct and delete your personal data stored by Mallorca PLUS SL at any time by inquiring via e-mali to our address:
